Adrian Shooter: A Life in Engineering and Railways
Adrian Shooter is a British engineer who has worked in the railway industry for over 40 years. He has held senior positions at Network Rail, British Rail, and London Underground, and is currently the Chairman of the Railway Industry Association.

In 2004, Shooter was appointed as the Chief Executive of Network Rail. Network Rail is the company responsible for maintaining and operating the railway infrastructure in Great Britain. Under Shooter's leadership, Network Rail invested heavily in improving the railway infrastructure, and the company's performance improved significantly.
Shooter left Network Rail in 2015 and became the Chairman of the Railway Industry Association. The Railway Industry Association is the trade association for the railway industry in Great Britain.
