Tony Leung was born on June 27, 1962, in Hong Kong. He developed a passion for acting at a young age and joined the TVB Artistes Training Programme in 1982. His early roles in television dramas showcased his versatility and set the stage for his future success.

In 1986, Leung made his film debut in "Twinkle, Twinkle Lucky Stars."
